Student Evaluations

This class gave me a sense of purpose. I was never tempted to skip class or to not participate because the impacts would have gone much further than my grade. I loved everything about this course.

Morgan is the best TA that I have ever worked with. She had such a large role in the class and I would argue that I learned more from her than I did from the professor. She was so great to work with and I hope to maintain a relationship with her in the future. 

Morgan was SO great to work with. The effort and time she puts into this class and the students is unbelievable. She is a very special person. 

Morgan was a pleasure to have. She kept the class running effectively at all times. When she felt we were unsure of the topic, she clarified and made connections with the students interests. 

Morgan was an outstanding TA. She ran the class extremely smoothly and was present in our decisions but also let the students lead the course.

Morgan is incredibly sweet, approachable, smart, and easy to talk to. I love her teaching style, her demeanor, and her patience. She is a FABULOUS T.A. and I feel so grateful to have had class with her this semester. You rock, Morgan!!! 

Morgan kept the course on track and did a wonderful job of facilitating class discussions. She also troubleshot any issues that arose with reasonable and effective solutions. 

She cares about her students and wants everyones voice to be heard. 

She went above and beyond to help the class and be prepared. 

Morgan made this class. I would have checked out long before the end of the semester if Morgan hadn't been there to move the course along/ensure things ran smoothly. 

Morgan basically ran this class. She kept us all very informed on what was expected of us and I appreciated having her in this class.

Morgan was great at keeping the course on track and helping us work through some of the more difficult aspects of the project. 

I really liked Morgan as a T.A.! If I was a CNPL major I would definitely take another class with her.

I would that the instructor for this course is one of the best that I have had so far while attending school here. She is knowledgeable in the subject and prepared an online class format that was engaging and well organized.

Professor Smallwood is easy to talk to and she's very understanding. I've sent emails a few times and have gotten responses very quickly. I used to have this class at 2:30 AM when I was abroad at the start of the semester, but it was actually interesting and I didn't once fall asleep.

I liked discussion because it gave us an opportunity to dig deeper into a topic that we learned in lecture. Morgan always came prepared and provided interesting and engaging material.

Morgan ensured that her students understood the topics...I credit her with absolutely everything I have learned in this course.

She was a very effective instructor and made discussion sections very worth attending. The discussions are very helpful and it is very easy to start a conversation since my TA knows how to run discussion.

Morgan has been an extremely nice TA and clearly tries to pull the best out of the students in order to make the class run smoothly. She is enthusiastic about the material and creates a very easy environment to discuss the topics at hand.

Morgan was a great TA who really cared about what we were learning, and brought that enthusiasm into our discussions. She was clearly well informed, and discussion often was more beneficial than lecture.

Morgan was an amazing TA. I really enjoyed and learned a lot from her power points. She was very good at solidifying concepts learned in lecture.

I like the structure of discussion and what we talk about. Morgan is good at specifying information and speaking clearly about the topics.

I liked my TA, so I think she did a great job keeping people engaged even when they were uninterested. She always seemed well prepared and open to discuss new things.
